The 52nd season of Sesame Street<\/em> is set to debut on November 11 on HBO Max under the Cartoonito section, with episodes dropping every Thursday.<\/p>\n

Sesame Street<\/em>‘s 52nd season, comprised of 35 episodes, continues to focus on a playful problem-solving curriculum, with characters repeatedly using the phrase, \u201cI Wonder…What if…Let’s Try!\u201d The new season welcomes Elmo’s adopted puppy Tango, who will appear regularly as a live-action Muppet.<\/p>\n

Interspersed throughout season 52 will be the new segment Elmo & Tango’s Mysterious Mysteries<\/em>, with 13 five-minute episodes. The series will follow Elmo and Tango as they help their friends solve mysteries, including the disappearance of Abby’s magic wand.<\/p>\n

As part of Coming Together, Sesame Workshop’s ongoing commitment to racial justice, the season will feature two racial justice-themed episodes: \u201cMartin Luther King Day\u201d (January 13), in which Elmo, Tamir and other characters make a Peace Tree to celebrate Dr. King, and \u201cLet’s Grow Together\u201d (February 17), in which Alan shares his Japanese American heritage.<\/p>\n

The season will also see Elmo and his pals venture outdoors. In \u201cElmo Mails a Letter\u201d (November 18), Elmo meets a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier in Queens, New York, to learn how mail is sorted and sent to the right place. In \u201cHike Pirates\u201d (January 6), Abby, Rudy and Freddy follow a hidden treasure map at Croton Gorge Park in Westchester, New York. Five additional episodes were filmed on location at Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard in North Salem, New York.<\/p>\n

A host of celebrity and special guests are set to appear, including Jon Batiste, Kacey Musgraves, Naomi Osaka, Anderson .Paak, astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison, Amanda Gorman, Keke Palmer and Billie Eilish.<\/p>\n

The season will stream on PBS KIDS beginning in fall 2022.<\/p>\n

Sesame Workshop also has a slate of Sesame Street<\/em> spin-offs, including The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo<\/em>, CGI animated Mecha Builders<\/em>, Esme & Roy<\/em>, Ghostwriter<\/em>, Helpsters<\/em> and Bea’s Block<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
