{"id":21740,"date":"2021-10-15T09:00:56","date_gmt":"2021-10-15T13:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2021-10-15T10:11:20","modified_gmt":"2021-10-15T14:11:20","slug":"smf-studio-scores-multiple-deals-for-kids-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/smf-studio-scores-multiple-deals-for-kids-series\/","title":{"rendered":"SMF Studio Scores Multiple Deals for Kids&#8217; Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Soyuzmultfilm (SMF) Studio made multiple deals for its series <em>Meowgic<\/em>, <em>Claymotions<\/em>, <em>The Secrets of Honey Hills<\/em> and <em>Golden Collection<\/em> at MIPCOM.<\/p>\n<p>SMF Studio secured a deal with Chinese long-term partner Joy Media to distribute the upper preschool show <em>Meowgic<\/em> to the Chinese market. The comedy series follows a girl whose pet cat can grant her two wishes a day.<\/p>\n<p>The studio&#8217;s sales agent, Jetpack Distribution, which holds the global rights for <em>Claymotions<\/em>, signed an agreement with Israeli kids&#8217; channel Hop! to broadcast the series. Finnish broadcasting company Yle also made an agreement to distribute <em>Claymotions<\/em> in its own territory. Both deals include 62 episodes of the preschool series, which teaches the young audience about the world through games.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli Hop! will also broadcast <em>The Secrets of Honey Hills<\/em>, as will \u010cesk\u00e1 televise due to an agreement with Sola Media, which represents the series worldwide. <em>The Secrets of Honey Hills<\/em>, produced with Unreal Engine, features intriguing crime stories to challenge kids&#8217; curiosity and logical thinking.<\/p>\n<p><em>Golden Collection<\/em> will land in the Baltic countries as the result of a deal with Latvian provider Tet, which acquired the rights to 300 cartoons.<\/p>\n<p>Yuliana Slashcheva, chairman of the board of directors of SMF Studio, said: \u201cCurrent MIPCOM [was] very eventful for the SMF Studio. We\u2019ve been very happy to find out that our highly anticipated comedy series for kids\u2014<em>Loodleville<\/em>\u2014has become the only project from Russia to be named as one of the five finalists for the MIPJunior Project Pitch. We have also premiered our new series <em>Coolics<\/em>, a first-ever show based on a comic book that has been produced in Russia. I truly hope that both titles will get recognition in the international arena, and we will continue expanding our global deals along with searching the ways for joint co-production.
