Netflix has added to its slate Maya and the Three<\/em>\u00a0(Maya y los tres<\/em>), an animated adventure series created by Jorge R. Guti\u00e9rrez.<\/p>\n

Set in a fictional fantasy world, the nine-episode series is an adventure full of humor and heart, inspired by a mix of Aztec, Mayan and Inca mythologies, as well as contemporary Caribbean culture.<\/p>\n

The voice cast in Spanish for Latin America includes Sandra Echeverr\u00eda as Princess Maya (original voice in English by Zoe Salda\u00f1a), Mauricio P\u00e9rez as Picchu, Javier Rodr\u00edguez as Rico, B\u00e1rbara Bustamante as Chimi, Diego Luna as Zatz (voice in English and Spanish), Gael Garc\u00eda Bernal as the three jaguars (voice in English and Spanish), Joaqu\u00edn Cos\u00edo as God Mictl\u00e1n, Kate del Castillo as Goddess Micte (voice in English and Spanish), Miguel \u00c1ngel Ghigliazza as God Cabrak\u00e1n, Jos\u00e9 Luis Orozco as the Gods Hura and Can, Irene Guiser as the Goddess Cipactli, Laura Torres as Great Witch, Gerardo V\u00e1squez as Great Witch, Jorge R. Guti\u00e9rrez as King Teca (voice in English and Spanish), Sandra Equihua as Queen Teca (voice in English and Spanish), Isabela Merced as the Viuda Queen (voice in English and Spanish), Carla Casta\u00f1eda as the Acat Goddess, Ricardo Brust as the Camazotz God, Ra\u00fal Anaya as the Goat God, Sebasti\u00e1n Llapur as the Vucub God and Rita Moreno as Ah Puch (voice in English and Spanish).<\/p>\n

In a fantasy world transformed by magic, and where four kingdoms rule the earth, Maya, a brave and rebellious warrior princess, is about to celebrate her 15th birthday and her coronation. But everything changes when the gods of the underworld announce that Maya\u2019s life must be sacrificed to the God of War, a price she must pay for her family\u2019s secret past.<\/p>\n

If Maya refuses, the entire world will suffer the vengeance of the gods.
