{"id":21213,"date":"2021-08-10T09:53:44","date_gmt":"2021-08-10T13:53:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/sesame-streets-new-licensing-agent-for-south-korea-southeast-asia\/"},"modified":"2021-08-10T11:24:45","modified_gmt":"2021-08-10T15:24:45","slug":"sesame-streets-new-licensing-agent-for-south-korea-southeast-asia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/sesame-streets-new-licensing-agent-for-south-korea-southeast-asia\/","title":{"rendered":"Sesame Street\u2019s New Licensing Agent for South Korea &amp; Southeast Asia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sesame Workshop has named CAA-GBG Global Brand Management Group as its new licensing agent for <em>Sesame Street<\/em> in South Korea and Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Per the agreement, CAA-GBG will work to extend the <em>Sesame Street<\/em> brand licensing program into new categories, including educational and children\u2019s licensed product opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><em>Sesame Street<\/em> content currently enjoys wide distribution in South Korea, including linear distribution on free-to-air broadcaster EBS and on pay TV through CJ ENM, as well as nonlinear distribution on LG TV+ and Coupang Play. In Southeast Asia, <em>Sesame Street<\/em> content is available across the region on HBO Asia and in Singapore through a long-term partnership with public broadcaster Mediacorp. <em>Sesame Street<\/em> content is also distributed via TVRI and Horee in Indonesia and VTV7 in Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>Whit Higgins, senior VP of international media and education and distribution at Sesame Workshop, said: \u201cSesame Workshop\u2019s mission is to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder.
