Nickelodeon&#8217;s series is the number two show in kids 2 to 5 in the U.S., behind <em>PAW Patrol<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBaby Shark is an example of how we\u2019ve been successful in bringing beloved properties that kids love from other platforms to Nickelodeon and opening up a whole new world of adventures,&#8221; said Ramsey Naito, president of Nickelodeon Animation. &#8220;As home to the biggest franchises kids love, we\u2019re continuing to grow their footprint by introducing brand-new characters and storylines and creating original content in every format for fans everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The as-yet-untitled movie will be co-produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio and SmartStudy.\u00a0ViacomCBS is also working with\u00a0SmartStudy\/Pinkfong on other brand extensions, including consumer products across categories such as\u00a0apparel, home, food and beverage, health and beauty, social expressions and toys.
