Dandelooo has signed several deals for the 2D preschool series Little Bear<\/em>, which has now been commissioned for a second season by France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions.<\/p>\n

The 39×7-minute series has been acquired by BBC Alba, French Canadian public media company TFO, Brazilian TV network Globo and Narrative Capital\u2019s Tiny Pop in the U.K. Further deals are in place with Kidstream (U.S.), Carousel (Russia), Czeska Televize (the Czech Republic), OCS (France), Good TV (Taiwan), Pineapple TV (Nigeria), RTVS (Slovenia), Pakapaka (Argentina), MTVA (Hungary), LTV (Latvia) and DSmart (Turkey).<\/p>\n

This adds to the current roster of broadcasters already on board: France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions, SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland), SRF (German-speaking Switzerland), RTS (French-speaking Switzerland) and TV5MONDE.<\/p>\n

Production on 78 new 7-minute episodes for season two will start at the end of 2021, with the full series available in the fourth quarter of 2023.<\/p>\n

Targeted at 4- to 7-year-olds, Little Bear<\/em> is based on the picture books by renowned French author and illustrator Benjamin Chaud and directed by Matthieu Gaillard.<\/p>\n
