WildBrain CPLG has appointed Jasen Wright to the newly created position of VP for North America.<\/p>\n
Wright will be responsible for driving WildBrain CPLG\u2019s North American efforts and expanding its portfolio of entertainment and lifestyle brands in the market. He will have a strong focus on the plans for WildBrain\u2019s proprietary brands this year and beyond, including Strawberry Shortcake<\/em>, Caillou<\/em>, Teletubbies<\/em> and Chip & Potato<\/em>.<\/p>\n Wright is based in New York and reports to WildBrain CPLG\u2019s executive VP and managing director, Maarten Weck.<\/p>\n During his career, Wright has developed consumer product and licensing programs for some of the world\u2019s leading brands across food and beverage, home improvement, automotive, art, sports, lifestyle and entertainment. Most recently Jasen was VP of licensing and brand management at Beanstalk and led the global brand licensing business for Diageo\u2019s spirit brands (ex: Guinness, Baileys, Captain Morgan), Taco Bell and Morton Salt.<\/p>\n Weck said: \u201cAs we continue extending our global reach and ensuring we have a robust presence in all corners of the world, the appointment of Jasen adds significant firepower to our global operations.
