It will premiere on May 28.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by Eamonn Butler and Dave Rosenbaum and featuring an original score from Bill Whelan, <em>Riverdance: The Animated Adventure<\/em> boasts a voice cast that includes Pierce Brosnan (<em>Die Another Day<\/em>, <em>Mamma Mia!)<\/em>, John Kavanagh (<em>Vikings<\/em>, <em>Alexander<\/em>), Brendan Gleeson (<em>Calvary<\/em>, the <em>Harry Potter<\/em> series) and Aisling Bea (<em>This Way Up<\/em>, <em>Living with Yourself<\/em>). The film also stars Lilly Singh (<em>Bad Moms<\/em>,<em> Ice Age: Collision Course<\/em>), Jermaine Fowler (<em>Coming 2 America<\/em>, <em>Friends of the People<\/em>) and Pauline McLynn (<em>Father Ted<\/em>, <em>The Young Offenders<\/em>). It also features a brand-new single by Lyra.<\/p>\n<p>Zai Bennett, managing director of content at Sky UK &amp; Ireland, said: \u201cRiverdance has been a cultural phenomenon across the world for more than 25 years. This magical animated adventure brings the spirit of Riverdance to life for a new generation, and Sky Cinema customers are going to love it!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dave Rosenbaum, director of <em>Riverdance: The Animated Adventure<\/em>, added: \u201cThis transcendent entertainment is what makes Riverdance a unique and exciting source for an animated feature. Our film celebrates the power of music and dance in new, unexpected ways. It illustrates the richness of Ireland\u2019s history, nature and people.
