The TV Kids Summer Festival will include a panel on the vital role of children\u2019s programming on public broadcasters, featuring Rai\u2019s Luca Milano, BBC\u2019s Sarah Muller, PBS\u2019s Linda Simensky and DR\u2019s Niels Lindberg.<\/p>\n
Milano is the executive director of Rai Ragazzi in Italy. Muller is the head of BBC Children\u2019s commissioning and acquisitions 7-plus in the U.K. Simensky serves as head of PBS KIDS content in the U.S. Lindberg is commissioning editor for DR Ramasjang and DR Minisjang at Denmark\u2019s DR. Together, the panelists will discuss the directives and mandates guiding their acquisitions and commissioning strategies, the value of pubcasters in the evolving kids\u2019 content landscape and the current state of public broadcasting.<\/p>\n
The TV Kids Summer Festival, which is being held from June 7 to 10, will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the children\u2019s content community today.
