Mondo TV Iberoamerica, part of Mondo TV Group, has secured an agreement with a number of broadcasters in Latin America to air four specially chosen episodes of MeteoHeroes<\/em> on Earth Day.<\/p>\n

Among the public channels that have confirmed plans to air the episodes are Se\u00f1al Colombia; TV Per\u00fa and its children\u2019s channel IPe; SER TV (Panama); TVN Chile via its children\u2019s channel TV Educa Chile; Pakapaka (Argentina); and Canal Once (Mexico). All are broadcasting the shows the week of April 22. Canal Once plans a second broadcast on the weekend of May 1 to 2 for D\u00eda del Ni\u00f1o (Children\u2019s Day) in Mexico.<\/p>\n

Private channels involved include Megavisi\u00f3n (El Salvador); TC Televisi\u00f3n (Ecuador); TV Jamaica; Trece (Paraguay); Primo TV (U.S. and Puerto Rico), the English-language network of Hispanic pay TV leader Vme Media; Colorvisi\u00f3n (Dominican Republic); and Red Uno (Bolivia).<\/p>\n

MeteoHeroes<\/em>, co-produced by Mondo TV and the leading Italian weather forecasting center Meteo Operations Italia (MOPI), helps children understand complex and current issues about climate, pollution and protecting the planet through a combination of entertainment and education. The four episodes will demonstrate the diversity of themes and regions covered by the series, including an episode set in Latin America, as well as underlining the show\u2019s blend of comedy, adventure and environmental themes.<\/p>\n

The special showings will be promoted by both the channels involved and Mondo TV across a wide range of platforms and media.<\/p>\n
