Nicole Keeb, the head of international co-productions and acquisitions for children and youth at ZDF, will be honored for her contributions to the children\u2019s programming industry with a TV Kids Pioneer Award, presented as part of the TV Kids Summer Festival.<\/p>\n

The TV Kids Summer Festival, which is being held from June 7 to 10, will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the children\u2019s content community today. The event, which is free to attend, will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsFestival.com<\/a>. (Missed our winter edition? Catch up on all the sessions here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Keeb has spent more than two decades at ZDF and has been a driving force in bringing innovative live-action and animated concepts to German kids. During her keynote conversation, Keeb will discuss the vital role kids\u2019 programming plays on ZDF; the mix of original, acquired and co-produced series on the German public broadcaster; her current content wish list and more.<\/p>\n

Keeb is the latest addition to the TV Kids Summer Festival, which already counts among its speakers M6\u2019s Philippe Bony, Cookie Monster, Sesame Workshop\u2019s Ed Wells, 9 Story\u2019s Vince Commisso, Aardman\u2019s Sean Clarke, Total Drama Island<\/em> creators Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch and CAKE\u2019s Ed Galton.<\/p>\n
