Set to be delivered later this year, the series sees young Oggy freed from the tyranny of the cockroaches, with playfulness, adventures and friends filling his life with fun. While his clumsiness can lead to mistakes, his resourcefulness sees him achieve great things.<\/p>\n<p>Xilam\u2019s Virtual Showcase will run from April 7 to 9. In addition to <em>Oggy Oggy<\/em>, Xilam\u2019s Virtual Showcase will give attendees an opportunity to discover the company\u2019s current programming highlights, including new episodes of <em>Tangranimals<\/em> and <em>Pfffirates<\/em> from Xilam\u2019s CGI specialist studio Cube Creative Productions, and upcoming preschool series <em>Lupin\u2019s Tales<\/em>. Alongside this will be short-form series such as <em>Where\u2019s Chicky?<\/em>, as well as <em>Boon &amp; Pimento<\/em>, which is co-produced by Xilam with Cross River Productions.<\/p>\n<p>Building upon its inaugural Virtual Showcase last October, Xilam will introduce a consumer products component to its upcoming event, which will also be headlined by <em>Oggy Oggy<\/em>. Under the inaugural consumer products component, alongside <em>Oggy Oggy<\/em>, Xilam will present licensing opportunities for <em>Lupin\u2019s Tales<\/em> and <em>Where\u2019s Chicky<\/em>, as well as its classic properties including <em>Oggy and the Cockroaches<\/em> and <em>Zig &amp; Sharko<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Morgann Favennec, executive VP of distribution at Xilam Animation, said: \u201cAs we build upon <em>Oggy and the Cockroaches<\/em>\u2019 global success and heritage, it felt like a natural step to create a property that would introduce preschool audiences to this treasured franchise. <em>Oggy Oggy<\/em> is filled with heartfelt, imaginative and creative storylines and the show also has a very charming visual style, which will lend itself very well to licensing and merchandising.
