{"id":20120,"date":"2021-02-10T09:27:40","date_gmt":"2021-02-10T14:27:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/bbc-studios-expands-licensing-program-bluey\/"},"modified":"2021-02-10T10:23:28","modified_gmt":"2021-02-10T15:23:28","slug":"bbc-studios-expands-licensing-program-for-bluey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/bbc-studios-expands-licensing-program-for-bluey\/","title":{"rendered":"BBC Studios Expands Licensing Program for Bluey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Five new licensing partners have been secured for the preschool series\u00a0<em>Bluey<\/em>,\u00a0which is available on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bluey\u00a0<\/em>launched its debut range of toys from Moose Toys and books from Penguin Random House in the U.S. Now, the brand is poised to make a bigger imprint at retail this year with new introductions from The Bentex Group, Spin Master, Jay Franco, Kurt Adler and Zak Designs.\u00a0BBC Studios is the distributor and licensing agent for <em>Bluey.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The line from The Bentex Group includes apparel that is now available on Amazon; puzzles and games from Spin Master will be available in the fall; a line of bedding, home d\u00e9cor, bath textiles and accessories from Jay Franco will launch in the fall; Zak Designs will roll out dining\/melamine in the fall; and holiday d\u00e9cor from Kurt Adler will debut in time for the season.<\/p>\n<p>An Australian children\u2019s series, <em>Bluey<\/em> offers a heartfelt and funny portrayal of family life and celebration of play. It follows the titular 6-year-old Blue Heeler dog, who loves to play and turns everyday family life into extraordinary adventures that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways.<\/p>\n<p>Suzy Raia, VP of consumer products and business development at BBC Studios, said: \u201cBluey, Bluey, Bluey!
