TV Kids Festival kicks off February 2 with leading buyers discussing their acquisition strategies, followed by keynote conversations with Genius Brands International\u2019s Andy Heyward, actor Tony Hale, Super RTL\u2019s Claude Schmit and ViacomCBS\u2019s Jules Borkent and Nina Hahn, among others. The day kicks off at 9 a.m. EST (convert to your local time)<\/a> with the session Buying Time: Programmer Wish Lists, featuring WarnerMedia’s Adina Pitt<\/strong>, M6’s Maud Branly<\/strong>, Kidoodle.TV’s Brenda Bisner<\/strong> and Hopster’s Ellen Solberg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At 10:30 a.m. EST<\/a>, Andy Heyward<\/strong>, CEO of Genius Brands International, and Harold Chizick<\/strong>, CEO and co-founder of ChizComm, will discuss the rapidly evolving children\u2019s media landscape and what companies should consider in order to thrive. The conversation will be followed by a preview of Stan Lee\u2019s Superhero Kindergarten<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 12:00 p.m. EST<\/a> Creative Keynote will see award-winning actor Tony Hale<\/strong> join DreamWorks Animation\u2019s Teri Weiss<\/strong> to share the story behind making the Netflix series Archibald\u2019s Next Big Thing.<\/em><\/p>\n

Next up, at <\/em>1:30 p.m. EST<\/a>, Super RTL\u2019s Claude Schmit <\/strong>will share how the broadcaster is staying ahead in the competitive German landscape.<\/p>\n

Day one festivities wrap with the 3 p.m. EST panel<\/a> ViacomCBS in Focus, featuring an in-depth conversation with Nina Hahn<\/strong>, the senior VP of international production and development for Nickelodeon International and head of ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) Kids, and Jules Borkent<\/strong>, the executive VP for kids and family at ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI).<\/p>\n
