Two-time Emmy Award-winning actor and author Tony Hale will be joined by Teri Weiss, executive VP of television development for DreamWorks Animation, to talk about the series Archibald\u2019s Next Big Thing<\/em> during the TV Kids Festival.<\/p>\n

Produced by DreamWorks, Archibald\u2019s Next Big Thing<\/em> is based on Hale\u2019s first children\u2019s book of the same name, which was published in 2014. Archibald\u2019s Next Big Thing<\/em> follows a young chicken named Archibald who is always looking for his next \u201cbig thing\u201d instead of realizing all the big and beautiful things around him. The theme of the book stems from Hale\u2019s own struggle of always looking for his next acting role instead of staying present and being in the here and now.<\/p>\n

Taking place from February 2 to 5, 2021, the TV Kids Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the importance of alliances in producing and distributing top-notch kids\u2019 programming today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on World Screen\u2019s brand-new, state-of-the-art events and festivals platform.<\/p>\n

TV Kids<\/em> previously announced a panel session on European animation with Xilam\u2019s Marc du Pontavice, Superprod\u2019s Cl\u00e9ment Calvet and Dandelooo\u2019s Emmanu\u00e8le P\u00e9try-Sirvin; one dedicated to the evolution of the distribution business, featuring CAKE\u2019s Ed Galton, eOne Family Brands\u2019 Monica Candiani and 9 Story Media Group\u2019s Alix Wiseman; a panel on kids\u2019 co-productions, with Toon2Tango\u2019s Ulli Stoef, Serious Lunch and Eye Present\u2019s Genevieve Dexter, Boat Rocker Studios\u2019 Jon Rutherford and Guru Studio\u2019s Frank Falcone; and a session on acquisition strategies will include Cartoon Network\u2019s Adina Pitt, M6\u2019s Maud Branly, Kidoodle.TV\u2019s Brenda Bisner and Hopster\u2019s Ellen Solberg.<\/p>\n

Also on the TV Kids Festival roster is Jonathan M.
