{"id":19845,"date":"2021-01-14T09:33:19","date_gmt":"2021-01-14T14:33:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/mondo-tv-inks-new-deals-meteoheroes\/"},"modified":"2021-01-14T11:20:39","modified_gmt":"2021-01-14T16:20:39","slug":"mondo-tv-inks-new-deals-for-meteoheroes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/mondo-tv-inks-new-deals-for-meteoheroes\/","title":{"rendered":"Mondo TV Inks New Deals for MeteoHeroes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mondo TV has sold its environmentally-themed kids\u2019 adventure-comedy show <em>MeteoHeroes<\/em> to broadcasters and partners in France and French-speaking countries, along with Turkey, the Baltics and the former Yugoslavia.<\/p>\n<p>Canal+ has picked up <em>MeteoHeroes<\/em> for its kids\u2019 channel Piwi+ in both France and French-speaking territories, excluding Canada, starting from the 2021 Easter holidays. The series is also due to launch in Turkey in May on Minika \u00c7o\u00e7uk, a free-to-air children\u2019s channel that is part of Turkuvaz Media Group.<\/p>\n<p>TV3 in the Baltic States will make <em>MeteoHeroes<\/em> available on TV and streaming services. In the former Yugoslavia, where a TV launch is set for the second part of 2021, Menart will manage media distribution for the series. Outside EMEA, Branding Streams is handling the media rights for the show in North America.<\/p>\n<p>Matteo Corradi, Mondo TV CEO, said: \u201c<em>MeteoHeroes<\/em> is already making a strong showing in the Italian market and we\u2019re not surprised that its universally relevant theme of making our planet sustainable, combined with its humor and thrilling storylines, great and diverse characters, and a lineup that promotes gender equality, has attracted so much interest internationally.
