Toon2Tango\u2019s Ulli Stoef, Serious Lunch and Eye Present\u2019s Genevieve Dexter, Boat Rocker Studios\u2019 Jon Rutherford and Guru Studio\u2019s Frank Falcone are set to take part in a panel on the ins and outs of kids\u2019 co-productions during the upcoming TV Kids Festival.<\/p>\n
Co-productions remain the lifeblood of the kids\u2019 content financing system, but they are becoming more complicated. Stoef, CEO and executive producer at Toon2Tango; Dexter, the founder and CEO of Serious Lunch and Eye Present; Rutherford, the president of Boat Rocker Studios, Kids and Family and Rights; and Falcone, the president and executive creative director at Guru Studio, will share their insights in the Partner Potential session during the festival.<\/p>\n
The festival will also feature a panel on acquisition strategies that includes, as previously announced, Cartoon Network\u2019s Adina Pitt, ZDF\u2019s Nicole Keeb, Kidoodle.TV\u2019s Brenda Bisner and Hopster\u2019s Ellen Solberg, along with Maud Branly, children\u2019s acquisitions director and international TV channels children\u2019s programming director of M6 Group, as a new addition.<\/p>\n
The TV Kids Festival roster includes Dan Povenmire, whose credits include the global hit Phineas and Ferb<\/em>; Traci Paige Johnson and Angela Santomero, the co-creators of the hit series Blue\u2019s Clues<\/em> and Blue\u2019s Clues & You!<\/em>; Eric Ellenbogen, the CEO and vice chair of WildBrain; Claude Schmit, the CEO of Super RTL; and Sebastian Debertin, the head of fiction, acquisitions and co-productions at KiKA.<\/p>\n Taking place from February 2 to 5, 2021, the TV Kids Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the importance of alliances in producing and distributing top-notch kids\u2019 programming today.
