Magic Light Pictures has partnered with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for a new Gruffalo Adventures trail in Kew Gardens\u2019 arboretum.<\/p>\n
The curated interactive trail in the arboretum, populated by characters created by author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, will give families the chance to track down The Gruffalo. The Gruffalo Adventures trail will welcome visitors during the half-term holidays from October 17 to November 1.<\/p>\n
In the autumn program, families are invited to play the role of the \u2018little brown mouse\u2019 on a journey through Kew Gardens. As they encounter more characters from the books and animated film adaptations, they can enjoy interactive activities, learn about different habitats and the marks humans leave behind in a woodland ecosystem, and enjoy autumn horticultural highlights. There will be timed appearances from a Gruffalo-costumed character throughout the festival.<\/p>\n
Further, Magic Light is launching the new Gruffalo Spotter augmented reality app at Forestry England sites. New Gruffalo Spotters trails for Gruffalo hunters will feature the AR app along with an activity pack that will enable them to interact with all their favorite characters along a trail.<\/p>\n
Wakehurst, RBG G Kew\u2019s wild botanic garden in Sussex, will also host its own Gruffalo half-term program. Among other activities, visitors will be able to follow a special Gruffalo trail through Wakehurst\u2019s woodlands and go on a hunt to find ingredients for a tasty Gruffalo crumble.<\/p>\n
