{"id":19345,"date":"2020-10-09T09:00:18","date_gmt":"2020-10-09T13:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2020-10-09T11:05:56","modified_gmt":"2020-10-09T15:05:56","slug":"spotlight-genius-brands-international-1020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/spotlight-genius-brands-international-1020\/","title":{"rendered":"Spotlight: Genius Brands International"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Genius Brands International has two seasons of <em>Rainbow Rangers<\/em>, an animated show for preschoolers about the adventures of seven magical girls from Kaleidoscopia, for the international marketplace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith an all-star creative team behind <em>Rainbow Rangers<\/em>, which includes Rob Minkoff, the director of Disney\u2019s <em>The Lion King<\/em>, and Shane Morris, co-writer of Disney\u2019s <em>Frozen<\/em>, the series explores themes such as environmentalism, empowerment, activism, tenacity and diversity,\u201d says Jess Brinder, VP of international distribution.<\/p>\n<p>The slate also features <em>Llama Llama<\/em>, based on best-selling books and featuring the voice of Jennifer Garner. The show promotes themes of friendship, community, acceptance and diversity. Meanwhile, <em>Stan Lee\u2019s Superhero Kindergarten<\/em>, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and directed by John Landis, has storylines that incorporate messages of health and wellness, anti-bullying, diversity and mindfulness. \u201cThis is one of Stan Lee\u2019s last projects, and it is co-written by Fabian Nicieza, the creator and writer of <em>Deadpool<\/em>, and Steven Banks, who is known for writing hit series such as <em>SpongeBob SquarePants<\/em>, <em>The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius<\/em> and <em>Planet Sheen<\/em>,\u201d Brinder says. \u201cWe are also on the lookout for both new and classic children\u2019s series to further fuel our Kartoon Channel! pipeline.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur mission from day one at Genius Brands has been to provide \u2018content with a purpose\u2019 for toddlers through tweens,\u201d adds\u00a0Brinder.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Genius Brands International has two seasons of Rainbow Rangers, an animated show for preschoolers about the adventures of seven magical girls from Kaleidoscopia, for the international marketplace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":19346,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pmpro_default_level":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21],"tags":[1503],"class_list":["post-19345","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-genius-brands-international","pmpro-has-access"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
