The birds live with a tribe of puffins in the land of Tana, where they embark on missions and tackle the small problems of everyday life. Throughout the series, themes such as gender and race equality and environmental protection are addressed.<\/p>\n<p>The series will be produced between the Iervolino Entertainment Studios in Rome and Iervolino Studios in Serbia. <em>Puffins<\/em>, which is set to commence production later this summer, will be a mobile-first, short-content format animated series consisting of 250 five-minute episodes.<\/p>\n<p>Iervolino said: \u201cWe\u2019re so happy to reunite with Johnny for a second project. Experiencing a new and avant-garde project like this short series, alongside Johnny, has given me even more conviction to champion experimental genre and format fusions.
