Through the adventures\u00a0of two musical instruments who are also best friends, alongside a wide range of characters, the series celebrates diversity as an essential part\u00a0of who we are.<\/p>\n<p>Punkrobot\u00a0is the\u00a0studio behind the short film\u00a0Bear Story, which made history in 2016 as the first Latin American\u00a0animated short Oscar winner. The series\u00a0is directed by Punkrobot\u2019s Antonia Herrera and Mar\u00eda Elisa Soto-Aguilar, in their directorial debut.\u00a0Pato\u00a0Escala\u00a0(<em>Bear Story<\/em>, <em>I Am Little Red<\/em>) and\u00a0Gabriel Garcia (<em>Tain\u00e1\u00a0and the Amazon\u2019s Guardians<\/em>) serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to\u00a0be\u00a0partnering\u00a0with the incredibly talented studios\u00a0Punkrobot\u00a0and Hype,\u201d said\u00a0Alix Wiseman, senior VP of distribution\u00a0and acquisitions\u00a0for\u00a09 Story. \u201c<em>Guitar &amp; Drum<\/em> is a beautiful series with important messages about inclusivity which we\u2019re thrilled to bring to an international audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Herrera and Soto-Aguilar added: \u201c<em>Guitar &amp;
