The event will feature upbeat musical performances of reimagined hits from the <em>Descendants<\/em> movies by multitalented Disney Channel stars. It is slated to air on Friday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson, Sofia Wylie (<em>High School Musical: The Musical: The Series<\/em>), Dara Rene\u00e9 (<em>High School Musical: The Musical: The Series<\/em>) and Kylie Cantrall (<em>Gabby Duran &amp; The Unsittables<\/em>) are set to perform remixes of &#8220;Set It Off,&#8221; &#8220;Night Falls,&#8221; &#8220;Chillin&#8217; Like a Villain&#8221; and &#8220;What&#8217;s My Name,&#8221; respectively. Five-year-old rapping sensation ZaZa will also make a special appearance during Cantrall&#8217;s performance.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Descendants Remix Dance Party<\/em> is executive produced by the Emmy-Award winning choreography duo NappyTabs (<em>World of Dance<\/em>, <em>So You Think You Can Dance<\/em>). This special marks NappyTabs&#8217; third collaboration with Disney Channel Music Events.<\/p>\n<p><em>Descendants<\/em>, <em>Descendants 2<\/em> and <em>Descendants 3<\/em> ranked as the number one cable movie among kids and tweens in 2015, 2017 and 2019, respectively. All three <em>Descendants 3<\/em> soundtracks reached number one on the Billboard Soundtrack chart, and the <em>Descendants<\/em> and <em>Descendants 2<\/em> soundtracks are gold-certified.
