{"id":18096,"date":"2020-02-13T09:56:44","date_gmt":"2020-02-13T14:56:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/mediatoon-sells-fox-badger-family-around-world\/"},"modified":"2020-02-13T09:56:44","modified_gmt":"2020-02-13T14:56:44","slug":"mediatoon-sells-the-fox-badger-family-around-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/mediatoon-sells-the-fox-badger-family-around-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Mediatoon Sells The Fox Badger Family Around the World"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mediatoon Distribution has sold the preschool series <em>The Fox Badger Family<\/em> to more than 25 new broadcasters.<\/p>\n<p>Among the free-TV channels taking the series are TV Brazil, CCTV-14 in China and T\u00e9l\u00e9-Quebec in Canada, as well as Rai Yoyo in Italy, WDR\/ARD\/KiKa in Germany, Sweden\u2019s SVT, RTBF\/Ouf Tivi in Belgium, RTS in Switzerland and Poland\u2019s TVP ABC. Norway\u2019s NRK Super, YLE in Finland and RSI in Switzerland have acquired both free-TV and VOD rights.<\/p>\n<p>In Central and Eastern Europe, Ceska TV in the Czech Republic, RTV Slovenska in Slovakia, Prava i Prevodi in Serbia and LTV in Latvia have picked up the show, alongside a deal with Mauritius Broadcasting in Mauritius. Further, pay-TV deals have been signed with HOP! in Israel, D Smart in Turkey, Germany\u2019s Studio 100 Junior and CJ Tooniverse\/English Gem in South Korea for pay-TV and VOD rights. SVOD deals have been signed in the U.S. and Latin America with the Hispanic channel HITN\/Edye, Mango TV in China and in France with Orange\u2019s platform OCS, Infinikids and TFou Max. All TV rights have been acquired by MTVA in Hungary and Canal+ Myanmar.<\/p>\n<p>The show, which has been translated into more than 20 languages, is in development on a second season by producers Ellipsanime and Dargaud Media. It is commissioned by France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions.<em>\u00a0The Fox Badger Family<\/em> is based on the comic book of the same name published by Dargaud and written by Brigitte Luciani and illustrated by Eve Tharlet.<\/p>\n<p>Jerome Alby, managing director of Mediatoon Distribution, said: \u201c<em>The Fox Badger Family<\/em> combines wonderfully positive characters with strong values of family and teamwork, tolerance and kindness.
