Peace Collective is rolling out its <em>Sesame Street<\/em> line in stores and online on November 14. The exclusive collection pairs <em>Sesame Street<\/em> characters with Peace Collective\u2019s trademark slogans across apparel and accessories for both adults and kids, including sweaters, t-shirts, hats, mugs, pins and magnets.<\/p>\n<p><em>Sesame Street<\/em>\u2019s landmark 50th season kicks off with the Joseph Gordon Levitt-hosted prime-time special <em>Sesame Street\u2019s 50th Anniversary Celebration<\/em>, which will air on Saturday, November 16, on Global. The 50th season of <em>Sesame Street<\/em> premieres on Sunday, November 17, on Treehouse.<\/p>\n<p>Carly Slack, director of marketing, licensing and retail at Nelvana, said: \u201cWe are ecstatic to be partnering with two renowned Canadian-based fashion companies to help celebrate <em>Sesame Street<\/em>\u2019s 50th anniversary. As the Canadian licensing agent of <em>Sesame Street<\/em>, we believe Smash + Tess and Peace Collective have both brought the beloved <em>Sesame Street<\/em> characters to life in new and innovative ways that will resonate well with our fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gabriela Arenas, Sesame Workshop\u2019s VP of licensing for North America, added: \u201cAs we celebrate 50 years\u2014and look ahead to 50 more!
