Megan Young has been tapped to fill the production executive role at ABC Children\u2019s, providing financial and production management expertise for the broadcaster.<\/p>\n

In her new position, Young will manage the production, business and planning activities associated with in-house and external productions across multiple genres, including drama, animation, comedy, preschool, factual and entertainment. She will join ABC Children\u2019s on November 11.<\/p>\n

Young, who has 20 years of experience working in the screen sector in Australia, New Zealand and the U.S., most recently served as the acting senior screen investment manager at Create NSW. From 2012 to 2017, she worked at Transmission Films as the delivery production manager and then as head of Australia\/New Zealand acquisitions.<\/p>\n

Libbie Doherty, head of ABC Children\u2019s content, said: \u201cMegan comes to ABC Children\u2019s with a wealth of experience in commissioning, financing and producing content for all genres and a passion for children\u2019s content.
