The series is inspired by Doreen Cronin&#8217;s popular book series.<\/p>\n<p>The voice cast for <em>The Chicken Squad<\/em> includes Ramone Hamilton (<em>The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants<\/em>), Maxwell Simkins (<em>Bizaardvark<\/em>), Gabriella Graves (<em>Coop and Cami Ask the World<\/em>) and Yvette Nicole Brown (<em>Community<\/em>, <em>Elena of Avalor<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Tom Rogers (<em>Elena of Avalor<\/em>) is executive producer and Rachel Ruderman (<em>Sofia the First<\/em>) is story editor. Tony Trujillo (<em>FarmVille 2<\/em>) is art director and Scott Bern (<em>Puppy Dog Pals<\/em>) is supervising director for the series, which is produced by Wild Canary in association with Disney Junior.<\/p>\n<p>Joe D&#8217;Ambrosia, senior VP of original programming and general manager at Disney Junior, said: &#8220;We love the fun, silly humor found in <em>The Chicken Squad<\/em> book series and are excited to have the opportunity to use that original material as a jumping-off point for our newest Disney Junior series.
