Jellyfish Pictures has struck a development deal with Bomanbridge Media for its brand-new preschool series Ivy and the Inklings<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Bomanbridge has invested in the series\u2019 development to aid in kickstarting the property\u2019s international launch and will oversee the distribution rights for the Asia Pacific. Both Jellyfish and Bomanbridge will spearhead the rollout of the series, with a view to securing co-production investment and broadcast interest.<\/p>\n

Ivy and the Inklings<\/em> is the latest property to be brought to market by Jellyfish\u2019s original content arm, Jellyfish Originals. The 52×11-minute CG-animated series, written by industry veteran Jo Clegg (Hey Duggee<\/em>, Go Jetters<\/em>, Lilybuds<\/em>), focuses around the titular character and her doodles, or \u201cInklings\u201d as she likes to call them, who are an artistic expression of how she is feeling.<\/p>\n

With Bomanbridge overseeing all APAC distribution, Jellyfish Pictures will be handling rest of world rights and seeking commissioning broadcasters, presales and potential co-production partners for the series.<\/p>\n

Natalie Llewellyn, head of development at Jellyfish Originals, commented, \u201cI am truly excited to bring Ivy and the Inklings<\/em> to the international market. It\u2019s not only visually stunning and jam-packed with comedy and heart, but it highlights the importance of nurturing emotional intelligence from an early age, equipping children with valuable life tools for the future.
