Banijay Group\u2019s Zodiak Kids has acquired four new titles for MIPCOM: Super Agent Jon Le Bon!<\/em>, Babyatrice<\/em>, Cry Babies Magic Tears<\/em> and Percy\u2019s Tiger Tales<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Zodiak Kids has taken the rights to all four seasons of Cry Babies Magic Tears<\/em>, aimed at the upper-preschool audience. The show centers around little babies with big personalities as they explore an imaginative world where tears are magical and carry special powers.<\/p>\n

Seasons one (12×3 min.) and two (26×5 min.) are available now, with the third season (36×5 min.) coming late next year and a fourth (26×5 min.) for 2022, produced by IMC Toys for YouTube. Cry Babies Magic Tears<\/em> has already enjoyed ratings success internationally, becoming a top-six program on My TF1 (France), the second highest-rating kids series on Ketchup TV (the U.K.), the second most-viewed program in the time slot on Disney Channel Spain and the third most-viewed program on Frisbee in Italy.<\/p>\n

Based on popular comic books, Super Agent Jon Le Bon!<\/em> is a series of animated shorts produced by Happy Camper Media for CBC Kids, Radio-Canada and Groupe M\u00e9dia TFO. Each episode sees Super Agent Jon Le Bon embark on a crazy adventure with his agency to save the world in 90 seconds.<\/p>\n

Family-friendly Babyatrice<\/em> is also making its debut at MIPCOM, produced by C\u2019est m\u00eame pas dr\u00f4le (Echo Media and Melomanie) for Radio-Canada, from the creator of Un Gars et Une Fille<\/em>. A third season has already been commissioned for 2020. Babyatrice<\/em> follows the contemplations of the very outspoken titular 4-year-old girl.<\/p>\n

Zodiak Kids has also acquired the preschool series Percy\u2019s Tiger Tales<\/em>, an animated series produced by Fabrique d\u2019Images and Skyline Animation. Four additional 26-minute specials are currently in production. When Percy and his friends put on a disguise and get into character, anything suddenly becomes possible: inhibitions disappear, and every problem gets a miracle answer. With a bit of imagination and a lot of mutual help, they can overcome any difficulty.<\/p>\n

Delphine Dumont, senior VP of sales, acquisitions and co-productions at Zodiak Kids, commented: \u201cThe new titles are such a great addition to our slate for MIPCOM.
