{"id":16953,"date":"2019-08-30T10:12:36","date_gmt":"2019-08-30T14:12:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/disney-gears-gabby-duran-unsittables\/"},"modified":"2019-08-30T10:12:36","modified_gmt":"2019-08-30T14:12:36","slug":"disney-gears-up-for-gabby-duran-the-unsittables","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/disney-gears-up-for-gabby-duran-the-unsittables\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney Gears Up for Gabby Duran &amp; the Unsittables"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Gabby Duran &amp; the Unsittables<\/em>, a new family comedy, has been slated for a fall release on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.<\/p>\n<p>The series is set to bow on Friday, October 11, at 9 p.m. It introduces 13-year-old Gabby Duran, played by actress and musician Kylie Cantrall, who inadvertently lands a job babysitting an unruly group of VIP extraterrestrial children disguised as everyday kids.<\/p>\n<p>Cantrall became a YouTube sensation as host of the series <em>Hello Kylie<\/em>, which has seen her interview musicians such as Pentatonix, Matty B. and Jordyn Jones. She has also released several music videos, including &#8220;Snake,&#8221; &#8220;Feature from Quavo,&#8221; &#8220;Abraca DAH Brah&#8221; and &#8220;Sleep is for Suckas.&#8221; Her most recent video, &#8220;That&#8217;s What I&#8217;m Talkin&#8217; Bout,&#8221; was released through Disney Channel Voices, an initiative to showcase new music. Cantrall has also made guest appearances on the Disney Channel series <em>Bizaardvark<\/em> and <em>Raven&#8217;s Home<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Starring alongside Cantrall is Maxwell Acee Donovan (<em>Good Kids<\/em>) as Gabby&#8217;s best friend and conspiracy theorist Wesley; Coco Christo (<em>We Take the Low Road<\/em>) as Gabby&#8217;s overachieving little sister Olivia; Nathan Lovejoy (<em>The Code<\/em>) as the wacky Principal Swift; Valery Ortiz (<em>Switched at Birth<\/em>) as Gabby&#8217;s caring and career-driven mom Dina; and Callan Farris (<em>Kings<\/em>) as Jeremy, a shape-shifting alien and Gabby&#8217;s first babysitting assignment.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Alber and Gabe Snyder (<em>Kirby Buckets<\/em>) serve as executive producers on the series, alongside Joe Nussbaum (<em>Just Add Magic<\/em>). <em>Gabby Duran &amp;
