Hasbro has expanded its toy and game recycling program to France and Germany and plans to launch it in Brazil later this year.<\/p>\n

The program enables consumers to send their used Hasbro toys and games to TerraCycle, a product recycling company. TerraCycle will then recycle the items into materials that can be used in the construction of play spaces, flower pots, park benches and more.<\/p>\n

Similar to the program in the U.S., once participants in France and Germany sign up, they can collect and box up their toys and games, print out a free shipping label and send their box to TerraCycle, which will then sort and recycle the products. Consumers in France can also bring toys and games to participating Picwic locations.<\/p>\n
