Gaumont has appointed Courtney Arumugam to the position of VP of creative development, animation and family.<\/p>\n
Arumugam will be based in London and report to Terry Kalagian, the company\u2019s senior VP of creative development, animation and family.\u00a0Her appointment is a result of the company\u2019s continuing strategy to expand its animation and family division in key countries throughout Europe.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining Gaumont, Arumugam served as senior creative executive of children\u2019s content at the U.K.-based literary and illustration company The Bright Agency, heading their newly launched in-house film and TV division. She also spent several years at Mattel serving as senior executive of creative content development and has also worked in commissioning and production for Channel 4, BBC and Fremantle.<\/p>\n
