Hello Halo has chosen Terri Langan, the company\u2019s current head of children\u2019s, to lead its newly launched kids\u2019 division, Hello Halo Kids.<\/p>\n
The aim of Hello Halo Kids is to produce international children\u2019s programs, working with talent from television, film, theater\u00a0and literature. The new division builds on the success of its current children\u2019s series Junk Rescue\u00a0<\/em>and the brand-new 30-part preschool series for CBeebies,\u00a0Let\u2019s Go for a Walk<\/em>.<\/p>\n Terri joined the company two years ago and started creating children\u2019s content in 2011, after 15 years of working as a producer in sports, factual and as head of development for indies in London and Manchester. She devised and executive produced Junk Rescue<\/em> and recently headed up two further seasons of the format\u2014one of which is currently airing on CBeebies\u2014with the fourth season playing later this year.<\/p>\n Let\u2019s Go for a Walk<\/em> shows how every child can enjoy being outdoors and appreciate the nature on their doorstep. It has been commissioned by the BBC.<\/p>\n Prior to Hello Halo, Langan joined BBC Children\u2019s in 2011 and led the CBeebies in-house development team for almost four years; her commissions in that position included BAFTA-winning Old Jack\u2019s Boat<\/em> and Swashbuckle<\/em>, and RTS-winning Stargazing<\/em> and Biggleton<\/em>.<\/p>\n Langan said: \u201cCreating quality programs for young people has never been more important and I am delighted to lead Hello Halo\u2019s new division.
