{"id":16172,"date":"2019-04-08T01:13:10","date_gmt":"2019-04-08T05:13:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2019-04-08T09:52:10","modified_gmt":"2019-04-08T13:52:10","slug":"cake-tt-productions-reveal-treasure-trekkers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/cake-tt-productions-reveal-treasure-trekkers\/","title":{"rendered":"CAKE &amp; TT Productions Reveal Treasure Trekkers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CAKE and TT Productions have partnered on the CGI action comedy <em>Treasure Trekkers,<\/em> which is launching at MIPTV with five initial episodes.<\/p>\n<p>The 52&#215;11-minute series follows the intrepid adventures of three heroic mouse-sized adventurers who are tasked with preserving and protecting the priceless treasures of the world. <em>Treasure Trekkers<\/em> was inspired by the award-winning children\u2019s book series <em>Maurice\u2019s Valises<\/em> by photographer and author J.S. Friedman, who executive produces alongside former LazyTown Entertainment exec Agust Ingason.<\/p>\n<p>The series&#8217; creative team also includes director Thierry Marchand (<em>Oktapodi<\/em>) and a writing team led by Andy Yerkes, with animation being done out of the company\u2019s B-Water Animation Studios.<\/p>\n<p>Ed Galton, chief commercial officer and managing director at CAKE, said, \u201c<em>Treasure Trekkers<\/em> has all the ingredients of an international hit series. Cinematic visuals coupled with universal quests and adventure stories that will resonate with children everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ingason said, \u201cWe are very excited to work with CAKE. I am certain this will allow us to achieve our mission of delivering empathy through entertainment and inspire kids around the world.
