MIPTV has revealed the five projects that have been selected for the second Kids Live Action Pitch and the six for the inaugural Pre-School Animation Pitch.<\/p>\n
The Kids Live Action Pitch finalists are Anarchy Anderson<\/em> (Mosaic Entertainment, Canada); Lady Ada\u2019s Secret Society<\/em> (Coconut Effect Productions, Canada); Super Huu<\/em> (Sublimate Entertainment, Australia); The Strand<\/em> (Magpie 6 Media Entertainment, Ireland); and Yalla! Yo!<\/em> (Studio 100, Belgium). The jury that will hear the presentations includes Nina Hahn, senior VP of international production and development at Nickelodeon; Nicole Keeb, head of international co-productions and acquisitions at ZDF; David Levine, VP of programming, production and strategic development at Disney Channel EMEA; Cheryl Taylor, head of content at BBC Children\u2019s; and Luca Milano, executive director of Rai Ragazzi.<\/p>\n The Pre-School Animation Pitch, a brand-new event for projects targeting children in the 3-to-6 set, is supported by Hub City of Asian Culture Gwangju. It will see presentations of Boomons<\/em> (\u00c1nima Kitchent Media, Spain); The Coop Troop<\/em> (Sixteen South, U.K.\/Ireland); The Kids Are Alright<\/em> (Errol Films, Spain); The Wee Littles<\/em> ( Magpie 6 Media Entertainment, Ireland); Time Out Tess<\/em> (Buffalo Gal Pictures, Canada); and Shasha<\/em> (Pingo Entertainment, Republic of Korea, presented by Hub City of Asian Culture Gwangju). Jurors include Tiphaine de Raguenel, director of young audiences and animation at France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions; Lev Makarov, deputy general director of special projects at CTC Media; Stella Noh, general manager of SK Broadband; Adina Pitt, VP of content acquisitions and co-production at Cartoon Network; and Massimo Bruno, head of TV channels at De Agostini Editore.<\/p>\n The presentations, which will take place during In Development KIDS, aim to garner the shows future creative and financial partners.
