Listen to the Moon<\/em>, a best-selling novel by Michael Morpurgo (War Horse<\/em>, Private Peaceful<\/em>), is set to be adapted into an animated series called Lucy Lost<\/em> by French studio Xilam Animation.<\/p>\n

Like the novel that inspired it, Lucy Lost<\/em> is set at the beginning of World War I on the Isles of Scilly. It will follow a fisherman and his teenage son, Alfie, who find Lucy\u2014an injured 11-year-old girl who has no memory of who she is.<\/p>\n

Jean-Christophe Dessaint is on board to direct the new series. It will be fully animated in CGI with a final 2D rendering. Currently in development, the 10×26-minute adventure series is aimed at a family audience.<\/p>\n
