Big Bad Boo Studios is greenlighting production for the second season of its original animated series 16 Hudson<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Along with its broadcast partners TVO Kids, Knowledge Kids and CBC Radio Canada, Big Bad Boo Studios is moving forward with 39×7-minute episodes for season two of 16 Hudson<\/em> as well as accompanying digital media components. Additional partners include ICI TV and the Shaw Rocket Fund. The series\u2019 first season had a soft launch with the English public channels in Canada in the fall and is now fully launching on all channels, including on SRC Radio Canada in French-speaking Canada. Digital Media components include episodes around cultural holidays and Choose-Your-Own-Adventure games.<\/p>\n

Aimed at the preschool-plus set, 16 Hudson<\/em> has a curriculum focused on “executive function” and social-emotional skills. Its diverse cast of characters includes Lili (Iranian), Sam (Chinese), Amala (half-Indian, half-Irish), as well as Luc, who has two Dads.<\/p>\n
