The theater production of <em>Rainbow Rangers<\/em> is slated to debut in 2019 and is timed to coincide with the brand\u2019s U.S. licensing program launch, which will include more than 300 product SKUs at retail across the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYoung children are already clamoring for all things <em>Rainbow Rangers<\/em>,\u201d said Todd Gershwin, founder of Gershwin Entertainment. &#8220;The colorful costumes, music and amazing adventures that provide the formidable foundation for the animated series lend themselves to live theater production, and we are honored that Genius Brands has entrusted us to develop another exciting platform for its young fans to engage with the <em>Rainbow Rangers<\/em> characters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lloyd Mintz, Genius Brands\u2019 senior VP of global licensing, noted: \u201cThe consumer response to Nick Jr.\u2019s introduction of Rainbow Rangers demonstrates that the brand\u2019s plethora of licensing partners are on track to benefit from what promises to be one of 2019\u2019s hottest new preschool entertainment properties.
