Netflix has unveiled a slate of new animated kids and family event programming, comprising feature films and original shows.<\/p>\n
Among the new titles is Maya and the Three<\/em> (2021), a limited series created, written and directed by Jorge Gutierrez (The Book of Life<\/em>). The show, which takes place in a mythical world, follows a warrior princess on a mission to find a trio of legendary fighters to help save the world of men and gods. It is co-written and co-executive produced by Silvia Olivas (Elena of Avalor<\/em>).<\/p>\n Other new titles include My Father’s Dragon<\/em> (2021), a feature film from director Nora Twomey (The Secret of Kells<\/em>) and penned by Meg LeFauve (Inside Out<\/em>); Go! Go! Cory Carson<\/em> (2019), a preschool show from Kuku Studios and executive producers Alex Woo (WALL-E<\/em>), Stanley Moore (Finding Dory<\/em>) and Tone Thyne (Wonder Pets!<\/em>); and Kid Cosmic<\/em> (2020), a series from Craig McCracken (The Powerpuff Girls<\/em>).<\/p>\n There is also Trash Truck<\/em> (2020), a show from Max Keane (Dear Basketball<\/em>); The Willoughbys<\/em> (2020), a movie from BRON Animation and writer\/director Kris Pearn (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2<\/em>); and Jacob and the Sea Beast<\/em> (2022), a feature film written and directed by Chris Williams (Moana<\/em>).<\/p>\n These productions join the previously announced Klaus<\/em>, Mighty Little Bheem<\/em>, Motown Magic<\/em>, Over the Moon<\/em>, Pinocchio<\/em> and Wendell & Wild<\/em>.<\/p>\n Melissa Cobb, the VP of kids and family at Netflix, remarked: \u201cWe know that there is no one type of family.
