CAKE plans to present Total Dramarama<\/em>, the prequel to the hit Total Drama<\/em> franchise, to international buyers at this year’s MIPCOM.<\/p>\n

Set in a daycare, Total Dramarama<\/em> will reintroduce beloved cast members as young children. The 52×11-minute show is geared toward viewers between the ages of 6 and 11. It is produced by Fresh TV in association with TELETOON and Cartoon Network in the U.S.<\/p>\n

Total Dramarama<\/em> debuted on Cartoon Network in the U.S. earlier this month, and will premiere on TELETOON in Canada on October 7 at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Ed Galton, the CCO and managing director at CAKE, commented: \u201cTotal Dramarama<\/em> is a completely new take on what is a very successful franchise. With fresh ideas and hilarious storylines, the series is aimed at a younger demographic and we are looking forward to introducing this totally random and sensational show to a brand-new audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom McGillis, co-creator of Total Drama<\/em>, added: \u201cFor Total Dramarama<\/em>, we decided to throw out logic and instead of a reality show competition, we now have a workplace comedy\u2014set in a daycare.
