Hasbro has extended its employment agreement with Brian Goldner, chairman and CEO, for another two years, while John Frascotti is being elevated to president and COO, among other appointments at the company.<\/p>\n
Goldner’s new contract will continue through December 31, 2022. Frascotti, who currently serves as president of Hasbro, will now add the role of chief operating officer while also joining the company’s board of directors.<\/p>\n
Goldner was first hired by Hasbro in 2000, working his way up to CEO in 2008 and chairman in 2015. Frascotti became president of Hasbro in 2017 after first joining the company in 2008 as chief marketing officer.<\/p>\n
Ted Philip, Hasbro\u2019s lead independent director, remarked: \u201cOver the past ten years as CEO, Brian has transformed Hasbro. His vision to set a differentiated strategy for the company, including investing in new capabilities and establishing a new culture, has dramatically increased shareholder value. Meanwhile, Casey Collins has been named senior VP and general manager of global consumer products at Hasbro, effective immediately. He is taking over from Simon Waters, who is becoming senior VP and general manager of the recently acquired Power Rangers<\/em> franchise.
