{"id":14741,"date":"2018-08-02T10:09:11","date_gmt":"2018-08-02T14:09:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/teletubbies-lands-new-licensees-south-korea\/"},"modified":"2018-08-02T10:11:09","modified_gmt":"2018-08-02T14:11:09","slug":"teletubbies-lands-new-licensees-in-south-korea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/teletubbies-lands-new-licensees-in-south-korea\/","title":{"rendered":"Teletubbies Lands New Licensees in South Korea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DHX Brands has secured several new licensing deals for <em>Teletubbies<\/em> in South Korea, where the reboot recently launched on KBS, Naver TV and Jr. Naver.<\/p>\n<p>Targeting kids and adults, the range of new <em>Teletubbies<\/em> products will include books from Random House Korea, health-based products from L2 Communications, and bath and sand play toys from Big Tree.\u00a0The roster also features novelty toys from Daeyoung Tongsang, footwear from Alphashoe, phone cases and accessories from Coquad, emoticons from Unico Korea and soft toys from Ezen Creation.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the new consumer products deals, DHX Media\u2019s distribution arm signed 19 more broadcast and streaming agreements internationally for the new\u00a0<em>Teletubbies<\/em>\u00a0series. These deals bring the total number of platforms signed for the preschool show to 54, spanning more than 100 territories worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Seasons one and two of the new\u00a0<em>Teletubbies<\/em> were picked up by the streaming service Bilibili in China, HBO Europe for Eastern Europe and RTM for Malaysia. Season one was picked up by CBeebies (Australia), ORF (Austria), Tuty (Czech), Fox (Finland), Studio 100 Junior (Germany), Kan (Israel), Spacetoon (the Middle East), Puls (Poland) and Rakuten Wauki (Spain). New deals for season two include ABC (Australia), eTV (South Africa), NPO (Benelux), T\u00e9l\u00e9magino (Canada), Hop!
