The 26-episode series will see Esme and Roy use the power of play to help younger monsters as they try new food, feel scared during thunderstorms and encounter other situations that preschoolers also face.<\/p>\n<p>Created by TV veterans Dustin Ferrer and Amy Steinberg (<em>Peg + Cat<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Team Umizoomi<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Wonder Pets!<\/em>, <em>Shimmer and Shine<\/em>),\u00a0<em>Esme &amp; Roy<\/em>\u00a0is produced in partnership with Corus Entertainment\u2019s animation studio Nelvana.
