Mondo TV has inked new broadcast and licensing deals in Spain and Portugal for the popular animated property Robot Trains<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The series, which is produced by CJ E&M, is due to debut in early September on Clan TVE in Spain, following its recent launch on Portugal’s Canal Panda. TV distribution for Robot Trains<\/em> in the region is managed by Mondo TV Iberoamerica.<\/p>\n

In Spain, Panini will release a sticker album in January 2019; Comansi is coming out with a line of figurines in Q2 2019; and Gedis will launch Calamity Car and 3D figurines at kiosks later this year. Bizak is distributing the toy range in Spain on behalf of master toy licensee Silverlit.<\/p>\n

And in Portgual, branded bed linen is slated to begin rolling out in Q4. Concentra will distribute the toy range in the country on behalf of Silverlit.<\/p>\n

Maria Bonaria Fois, Mondo TV Iberoamerica’s managing director, commented: \u201cSpain and Portugal are key markets for Robot Trains<\/em>, where we are confident that the show\u2019s wonderful cast of characters and engaging, exciting storylines give it very strong prospects. Valentina La Macchia, the director of consumer products at Mondo TV Group, stated: \u201cThe licensing program for Robot Trains<\/em> is strong in many markets already and we are enormously excited about the prospects for the Iberian market, where the impressive commitment of leading TV channels and powerful marketing support from toy distributors promise an amazing impact for this fantastic show at retail.\u201d<\/p>\n
