BBC News has premiered a weekly show, titled What’s New?<\/em>, for viewers between the ages of 11 and 16 in Africa.<\/p>\n

What’s New?\u00a0<\/em>is an informative and entertaining program meant to keep young audiences up to date about what’s happening in the world. The series includes three regular segments each week: Behind the Headlines, The Big Interview and My Story. There will also be such specially commissioned features as Fake News and Reality Check for Kids, and The Conversation.<\/p>\n

What’s New?\u00a0<\/em>debuted on Saturday, June 23. The show is currently available in English on KTN in Kenya, LNTV in Liberia, One Africa TV in Namibia, ABS Anambra in Nigeria, SLBC TV in Sierra Leone and NBS in Uganda.<\/p>\n
