Sixteen South and Wonderbly are teaming up to develop the best-selling Lost My Name<\/em> books into an animated preschool TV series.<\/p>\n Wonderbly appointed Helen McAleer, former managing director of Walker Books and founder of Walker Productions, as executive producer for the 52×7-minute series. David Cadji-Newby and Pedro Serapicos, Wonderbly\u2019s co-founders and the writers and illustrators of the Lost My Name<\/em> books, will work closely with McAleer and Sixteen South to develop the show.<\/p>\n Wonderbly and Sixteen South will pitch the series to broadcasters later this summer.\u00a0The partnership is part of a long-term publishing and franchise strategy to develop the Lost My Name<\/em> world.\u00a0In July, Wonderbly will publish a sequel book that takes kids on another adventure of self-discovery in the world of Lost My Name<\/em>.<\/p>\n Asi Sharabi, co-founder and CEO of Wonderbly, said, \u201cWe were looking for a while for the right creative partner to embark on this new adventure and Sixteen South\u2019s heartfelt and exuberant approach to children\u2019s animation, coupled with remarkable attention to detail, is exactly what we were looking for.
