DHX Media’s WildBrain has tied up with Brazil’s Alopra to co-produce the second season of Hydro and Fluid<\/em>, a slapstick comedy series on YouTube.<\/p>\n

WildBrain is acquiring a 50 percent stake in the show’s first two installments. Hydro and Fluid<\/em> follows the adventures of two water capsules who escape from a lab after gaining life in a failed experiment. The 26×1-minute sophomore season debuts on YouTube next month.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis agreement builds on WildBrain\u2019s proven ability to manage and grow children\u2019s content on YouTube,\u201d said Jo Parkinson, the head of operations at WildBrain. \u201cIn just five months of managing Hydro and Fluid<\/em> on our network, WildBrain has garnered more than 50 million views and over 200 million minutes of watch time for season one. Now, as co-producers, we\u2019re excited to team up with Alopra for an all-new, original second season of Hydro and Fluid<\/em>, and we\u2019re confident there\u2019s plenty of room to further grow the YouTube audience for this unique and funny show.\u201d<\/p>\n
