Nat Geo Kids in LatAm has revealed Opa Popa Dupa<\/em>, a new puppet show created for preschool children.<\/p>\n

Through humor and music, the series features themes based on key pillars of National Geographic such as science, technology, space, physics and chemistry, among others. The 26×30-minute show will present 15 characters who experience numerous adventures as they discover the world with the objective of incentivizing children and parents to take care of the environment and natural resources, to be curious, adventurous and, in particular, to be explorers looking for a better world.<\/p>\n

Opa Popa Dupa<\/em> will feature more than 100 well-known celebrities from Latin America who were invited to participate with the object of communicating the essence of the show across all the digital platforms of Nat Geo Kids in the region.<\/p>\n

Produced by Estudios TeleM\u00e9xico, Opa Popa Dupa<\/em> will premiere this year on Nat Geo Kids linear channel, the Nat Geo Kids App and digital platforms.<\/p>\n

\u201cOpa Popa Dupa<\/em> represents once again our goal of producing high-quality entertaining and educational Latin America’s content for both children and parents, and thus extend National Geographic\u2019s values to a whole new generation,\u201d said Fernando Semenzato, senior VP of production at National Geographic Partners for Latin America.<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cWe developed over 30 thematic songs, we created 15 characters with different personalities, and we invited over 100 celebrities of the whole region to participate in order to generate a really encouraging product for all of our audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diego Reck, executive VP of National Geographic Partners for Latin America, added: \u201cThe puppets are cultural icons that accompanied many generations, Opa Popa Dupa<\/em> is a new opportunity to revive a tradition in a unique way for the new generations, with an enormous potential to transcend the screen so that little kids enjoy the full experience across a wide portfolio of products and licenses.\u201d<\/p>\n
