Entertainment One (eOne) is kicking off the launch of\u00a0Peppa Pig<\/em> merchandise in Japan with an exclusive themed pop-up store in Tokyo.<\/p>\n eOne and Sega Toys, the master licensee for the brand in Japan, are rolling out a Peppa Pig Goes to London<\/em> pop-up store, which will be open at the Takashimaya\u00a0Shinjuku department store in Tokyo from March 28 to April 3. Peppa Pig<\/em>\u00a0merchandise will launch nationwide at\u00a0Toys\u201cR\u201dUs\u00a0stores in June.<\/p>\n Peppa Pig<\/em>-themed items spanning toys, publishing, novelty, homewares, stationery and home entertainment, from 23 licensing partners, will be available in the pop-up store. An opening ceremony will be held on March 28\u00a0to celebrate the start of the activity at Takashimaya.\u00a0To support the pop-up,\u00a0Takashimaya\u00a0will host special\u00a0Peppa Pig<\/em>\u00a0screenings between March 28 and April 10. There will also be English-language workshops for young visitors and reading sessions of\u00a0Peppa Pig<\/em>\u00a0books in Japanese.\u00a0Nippon Columbia\u00a0will introduce the first\u00a0Peppa Pig<\/em>\u00a0DVD, Muddy Puddles<\/em>, into the market from March 28.<\/p>\n eOne\u2019s Ami Dieckman, the senior VP of international licensing for Family & Brands,\u00a0said, \u201cThe response to\u00a0Peppa Pig<\/em>\u00a0in Japan has mirrored the brand\u2019s success throughout Asia and we\u2019re seeing the demand for merchandise build rapidly.
