The 44&#215;11-minute show will debut as an iPlayer exclusive on March 8, followed by its linear launch on March 12.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bitz &amp; Bob<\/em> is made by BBC Children\u2019s Productions and Boat Rocker Rights, and is animated in CGI by Jellyfish Pictures. There is also a 44&#215;4-minute live-action companion series titled <em>Bitz &amp; Bob You Can Do It Too<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Alice Webb, the director of BBC Children\u2019s, commented: \u201cOur world is made up of a brilliant combination of art and science and I hope <em>Bitz &amp; Bob<\/em> will show that. We want to convey that your imagination has no limits and you can make something happen, whoever you are.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s really important that girls are fired up about STEAM subjects because otherwise they are closing themselves off to lots of opportunities that they might have in the world, and the world would be missing out on a wonderful array of female talent.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CBeebies is gearing up to premiere the new STEAM-themed animated preschool comedy Bitz &#038;
