{"id":13696,"date":"2018-01-15T09:00:55","date_gmt":"2018-01-15T14:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2018-01-15T09:30:01","modified_gmt":"2018-01-15T14:30:01","slug":"nickelodeon-inks-deal-for-smart-toy-lines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/nickelodeon-inks-deal-for-smart-toy-lines\/","title":{"rendered":"Nickelodeon Teams with Wise Toys for AR Brand Extensions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) has teamed up with Wise Toys to release a line of branded smart toys that feature augmented reality.<\/p>\n<p>The multi-property merchandise agreement, which excludes U.S. territories, involves three of Wise Toys\u2019 smart product lines: Wise Pet, an AR coloring and activity book, as well as an AR activity box set. The Wise Pet collection will be branded with <em>PAW Patrol<\/em>, <em>Shimmer and Shine<\/em>, <em>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles<\/em> and <em>Blaze and the Monster Machines<\/em> characters.<\/p>\n<p>Wise Pet is a plush-like smartphone and tablet protector designed especially for babies and kids. Wise Pets &#8220;come to life&#8221; with a free app, which will feature Nickelodeon content and activities in various languages.<\/p>\n<p>The Wise Toys AR coloring book and activity books will feature <em>SpongeBob SquarePants<\/em>, <em>Dora the Explorer<\/em>, <em>Dora and Friends<\/em>, <em>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles<\/em> and <em>Nella the Princess Knight<\/em>.
